Dr. Mamatha B, an MBBS graduate from Bangalore Medical College (1998), completed her MS in Ophthalmology from Mysore Medical College in 2002. She pursued a fellowship in General Ophthalmology at B W Lions Superspeciality Eye Hospital (2003-2004), where she was awarded Best Fellow of the Year, and later completed her super-specialization in Cornea and Anterior Segment at the same institute, recognized by RGUHS, in 2007.

Since 2004, she has been working as a Consultant at B W Lions Superspeciality Eye Hospital, specializing in Cornea, Cataract, and Refractive procedures. She has been serving as the Medical Director of the hospital since 2019.

Dr. Mamatha is also a dedicated educator, serving as a teacher and examiner for DNB and RGUHS fellowship courses. She is a sought-after speaker and has presented at various local, state, and national conferences. Additionally, she has contributed to the field through the publication of research papers in reputed journals.
